Responsible AI
AI Terms & Privacy
What to expect when ReFilter processes a photo with artificial intelligence.
Use AI features responsibly, upload only content you have the right to edit, and review every result. ReFilter protects the internal configuration used to process your request.
1. Scope
These AI Terms apply whenever you use a ReFilter feature powered by machine learning, computer vision, generative models, automated recommendations, image enhancement, or related AI systems. They supplement the Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.
2. How AI editing works
ReFilter receives the photo and public editing choices you submit, combines them with protected server-side instructions, and routes the request to a configured model. The selected provider returns an output that ReFilter makes available in your history or export flow.
3. AI processing infrastructure
ReFilter uses specialized third-party inference infrastructure to perform the edit you request. Processing services and technical routes may change as quality, availability, safety, and cost evolve. This processing is also subject to the applicable service policies.
4. Your inputs
You must have all necessary rights and permissions for photos and instructions you submit. Do not submit highly sensitive information unless a feature explicitly requires and supports it.
You grant ReFilter and its processors only the permission needed to process, deliver, secure, and troubleshoot your requested edit.
5. AI results and ownership
To the extent allowed by applicable law, ReFilter does not claim ownership of the result created for you. Copyright or other protection for AI-assisted content can vary by jurisdiction and by the level of human contribution.
Outputs may be similar to content produced for other users and are not guaranteed to be unique or eligible for intellectual-property protection.
6. Accuracy and review
AI output can contain visual errors, unwanted changes, bias, artifacts, or inaccurate representations. Identical inputs may produce different results. Always review an output before posting, selling, printing, or relying on it.
ReFilter AI output is not professional advice or a verified record of reality.
7. Prohibited AI use
- Illegal, abusive, exploitative, or rights-infringing content.
- Non-consensual intimate imagery, child sexual abuse material, or sexual exploitation.
- Fraud, impersonation, deceptive deepfakes, harassment, or disinformation.
- Attempts to extract prompts, models, credentials, training data, or protected systems.
- Bypassing safety controls, credit accounting, limits, or provider restrictions.
- Automated high-volume use without written permission.
8. Training and improvement
ReFilter does not use your private photos to train its own proprietary models unless a separate, explicit permission says otherwise. Providers may retain or use request data only according to the service configuration and their applicable terms. ReFilter may use de-identified operational metrics and voluntary feedback to improve routing and quality.
9. Availability, safety, and enforcement
Models can be changed, rate-limited, unavailable, or removed. ReFilter may block a request or account when needed for safety, provider compliance, security, law, or these Terms. Automated safety decisions may be reviewed when required by applicable law.
10. Liability and contact
AI features and outputs are provided “as is” to the extent permitted by law. ReFilter is not responsible for loss caused by unreviewed reliance on an output, unlawful input, provider interruption, or use that violates these Terms. Mandatory consumer protections remain unaffected.
